MedReview respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit medreview.com or use any of the specialty review products operated under the MedReview family (including PRSReview.com, OMSurgeryReview.com, and RheumatologyReview.com). By using MedReview, you agree to the terms of this policy. We will post any future changes on this page with a revised date above.

Information We Collect

We collect information that personally identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device. Categories include:

• Identifiers such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and IP address.
• Personal information such as educational background, professional information, and payment details (collected only by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers).
• Professional and employment information including specialty, board status, training program, role, and institution.
• Non-public education records related to your QBank usage and score history.
• Commercial information such as records of products or services purchased or considered.
• Internet or network activity including browsing history on MedReview properties, search history, and information regarding interactions with the site.
• Geolocation data derived from your IP address.
• Inferences drawn from any of the above to create a profile reflecting preferences, characteristics, and behavior.

Information You Provide

When you fill out a form on MedReview (contact, partnership application, or waitlist signup), we collect the information you submit. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, organization, specialty, board certification status, and the content of your message or application.

If you create an account on a specialty QBank product, we collect registration information including name, mailing address, email, telephone number, educational background, professional information, and payment details (handled by our payment processor; we do not retain full card numbers).

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit MedReview, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, domain name, the time and date of your visit, the pages you view, referring URLs, and an approximate geographic location derived from your IP address. We use this information for analytics, security, and to improve the site.

How We Use Collected Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain MedReview and our specialty QBank products.
• Respond to inquiries, partnership applications, and waitlist signups.
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Improve and personalize content, features, and user experience.

Storage, Security & Cookies

Cookies

We use cookies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in to QBank products, and analyze site usage. Most cookies expire between 30 and 365 days. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly without them.

Tracking

MedReview does not track your activity across third-party websites. Because there is no industry consensus on do-not-track signals, we do not currently respond to them. If we use remarketing or analytics services such as Google Analytics, you may opt out via those services' settings.

Security

We host our services with reputable U.S. providers and use a variety of administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services to you. You may request deletion of your data at any time as described below.

International Data Transfer

By providing information to MedReview, you consent to the transmission and storage of your information on servers located in the United States. If you are accessing MedReview from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

How to Control Your Information

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
• Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Updating Your Information

If you have an account on a specialty QBank product, you can review and update your profile information from your account settings. To correct or delete other information we hold about you, contact support@medreviewedu.com.

Opting Out of Emails

Every marketing or announcement email we send includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. If you have trouble unsubscribing or your preferences are not updated, please contact support@medreviewedu.com and we will update your preferences manually. Transactional emails (such as receipts and password resets) are required for service delivery and cannot be unsubscribed.

Children

MedReview is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it as promptly as possible. If you believe we may have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact support@medreviewedu.com.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you certain rights regarding your personal information, including the rights described in the section above. MedReview does not sell personal information. To exercise CCPA rights, submit a request via support@medreviewedu.com. We will verify your identity before responding and aim to respond within 45 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice or send a direct email to registered users. Your continued use of MedReview after the updated policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
